#Bitcoin is a political movement, not necessarily partisan, that proposes an alternative system to the dominant system of the last few decades. This proposal grants citizens sovereignty and freedom. For the first time in many years, citizens can protect themselves from poor economic decisions made by a handful of people who control power. Today, workers can choose Bitcoin as their currency and preserve the value of what they have earned through their work and effort. Today, we have another option. Those who control power know what they are doing very well. They understand that monetary issuance benefits them and disadvantages the entire population. They will not stop doing it willingly, and they will not stop doing it forcefully either because they hold a monopoly on weapons. For the first time in our modern history, citizens have a means to carry out a non-violent revolution without shedding a single drop of blood. Bitcoin enables us to pursue a peaceful revolution and prevent those in power from using government money as a political tool for their own gain. Bitcoin is freedom.
