Vibe coding. Day by day, I see more engineers submit to AI’s ability. It’s an average ability. It’s glorified copy pasta from Stack Overflow. Is it faster? Yes. But thats fiat thinking. If it needs to be done fast at the expense of quality, how much worth is it? Would you depend on an airplane? How about the firmware for robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery? The harvesting of your food? There is value in human time. I believe this to be more valuable than AI time. Thus, there is tremendous value in human-made goods. Vibe coding was supposed to be for a quick script, a throw-away proof-of-concept, or testing an idea. It wasn’t meant to replace the investment of heartbeats. Yet that’s the path we’re on. Ever sat in Amish furniture? Try it. Then go sit in a mass produced ikea chair. We’re bitcoiners. We’re nostriches. We’re supposed to recognize true value because we use better measuring sticks than the fiat zombies of the world. Yet we’re producing our tools like we’re trying to mine more fiat.
