Living in Poland will radicalize you. One of the first things I saw when I landed there this summer, while walking to my hostel around 10-11PM, was a young girl (probably 12-13 y/o) singing and skipping through the big park in the middle of city. Probably going to a slumber party or something. This level of default safety & comfort feels like a different world. But it shouldn't.
