It's completely untrue. He will, of course, sign the bill.
#Democrats and #Republicans both serve the #military #industrial #complex first and foremost.

The #Libertarian Party must grow separately from the #Republicans and #Democrats if we ever hope to achieve our goals.
Our focus in the coming years (and yes, decades) is to build a professional organization that can run and support candidates up and down the ballot.
Currently, our national party is not in a position to do so. Many state affiliates are similarly not equipped to handle this task.
We have spent two years as national leadership chases relevance within the #GOP.
As a result, we have lost members, donors, staff, institutional memory, and our focus on being a p#olitical party as opposed to a feeder system for the duopoly.
In exchange, we have seen the incoming president nominate neocons, covid apologists, big labor supporters, and loyalists to postions of power and influence. The idea of cutting government waste has been relegated to a "department" with no actual standing to do anything but make recommendations that can easily be ignored. This is what we've seen from commissions in the past that were similarly tasked with cutting waste and inefficiency.
Many Libertarians meanwhile feel left out in the cold. Members were told by leadership that we have a seat at the table.
There are over 100 members of the Trump/Vance transition team, which of those are representing the Libertarian Party at the table?
It's time to refocus ourselves. In the coming months and years, as we see the government grow, conflict increases abroad, and the continuing cycle of political kayfabe from Republicans and Democrats, we need to remember our purpose as a party.
It's to be wholly different from the current authoritarian duopoly. It's to provide an honest option for voters rooted in the philosophy of liberty and non-aggression. It is to organize ourselves and begin winning elections and putting our philosophy into practical application.
I have no doubt this can be achieved over the long term if we focus ourselves on building the party one brick at a time and winning liberty inch by inch.
I am prepared to do this and commit myself to working in unison with others to build a stronger party, a better party, and a future of freedom for myself and all others.
I hope many who feel dismayed or lied to by the incoming administration understand that I am not here to hold a grudge or say, "I told you so." I'm not offended if you didn't vote for me.
I'm asking you to work alongside me to build a better functioning Libertarian Party.
Let's get to work.

Last night in Columbus Ohio I spoke to supporters at an event and had a chance to meet a lovely couple who told me that they were now former RFK voters who had decided to now support me after RFK's endorsement of Donald Trump.
"I just can't support the two-party system, and I'm happy to come here and vote for you in November."
My response?
"Welcome home to the Libertarian Party."
We want to welcome these folks with open arms. Come into the tent. Stay for a while, and let's have some friendly conversation about liberty.
That's how we will grow.
That's how we will win.

I spent the week starting inWashi ngton, DC, where I both participated in a debate and responded to the trainwreck of a debate between Trump and Biden. The American voter deserves a better and more open debate than that.
While Joe Biden’s sometimes contradictory immigration stances seem more about political expediency than well-thought-out policies, Libertarian Chase Oliver has consistently called for an Ellis Island-style system.
“There are few better examples of bad government than the current overly complex laws and regulations involving immigration,” says Oliver, 38, the Libertarian candidate for President Oliver will defend his immigration stances on the ZeroHedge Debate on Wednesday, June 26, from 7-8 p.m. EST. Oliver will pair with Robby Soave (Reason, The Hill) for the pro-immigration viewpoint, while Jack Posobiec and Ryan Gidursky will argue against it; Ryan Grim (The Intercept) will moderate.
Our cruel immigration system can be counted on for one thing: Every four years - for longer than Oliver has been alive - presidential candidates have called for urgent immigration reform. Democrats run on immigration reform by appealing to your empathy, while Republicans run on immigration reform by appealing to your fear and sense of self-preservation. Regardless of who’s singing, the song remains the same. The new verse is a mash-up, with the Biden administration singing both parts of a discordant duet.
On June 4, the Biden Administration again got tough on borders, much to the continued chagrin of his progressive base. Then Tuesday, June 18 - two weeks later - he’s throwing them a bone. Biden is promising that maybe undocumented spouses of U.S. citizens can someday gain a green card, and then, eventually, citizenship without having to first leave the country and suffer an up to 10-year waiting period akin to a moratorium. The process, essentially an eight-year path to citizenship, is called “parole in place.”
It’s the same terminology used for a convicted criminal who is released early from their adjudicated sentence, kept under the watchful eye of the government, lest they re-offend. It’s a fair trade-off for early release from prison, but a slap in the face to those who aren’t convicted criminals.
“Most Americans are shocked to learn that families have not had legal protections up until now,” says Mike ter Maat, Oliver’s running mate.
Any remediation of harm caused by our broken immigration system is a step in the right direction. But in no world should we feel satisfied. Certain changes to policy must still get past legal challenges that will likely be coming from Republican-led states, ultimately ending up in front of the Supreme Court.
Oliver says it’s time for a change. It shouldn’t take eight years. It shouldn’t take eight months. We should not treat those who positively contribute to our society as common criminals.
CNN debate exclusion even worse than Old Debate Comission
The June 27 presidential debate sponsored by CNN requires candidates running outside the major parties to have qualified in states containing at least 270 electoral votes by June 20. This is an irrational requirement, because the traditional bulk of petitioning for independent presidential candidates is done later in the year than June 20.
For example, in 1992, Ross Perot was only on the ballot in states containing 119 electoral votes as of June 15. The authority for this statement is the June 15, 1992 print issue of Ballot Access News. It shows he was only on the ballot in Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Kentucky, Maine, New Jersey, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming (12 states). He was finished petitioning in many more states on that date, but the state elections offices hadn’t checked his signatures yet.

The most local governance is that of self-governance. Libertarians want to take power out of the hands of the central planners and return that power to every individual so they may live in peace as they see fit.
This means that without a doubt, there will be people who go about their life in ways you disapprove of, and that's okay. Freedom is the condition for diversity of thought, expression, and values.
Freedom isn't having the world operate just the way you want it.
Freedom is you living your life the way you want in a world full of others doing the same.
I am very much looking forward to joining the Free and Equal debate stage in Las Vegas!
