I think about the point of art sometimes, the artists intent. Books, tv, and movies are longer commitments than pictures so it takes more commitment to start to see the artists intent. On top of that sometimes it is just a fun ride and sometimes the artist intends to convey a message. It would be easy to do the TV or movie equivalent of looking at an Escher and thinking big whoop, a flight of stairs. When I dislike something I sometimes wonder if I was unimpressed by a boring pencil sketch because missed that the stairs are always going up in a circle. To get to the point of the worlds most non sequitur show review... I really liked The Chair Company, but I had to look closer than I expected from the trailers and the first few minutes.

I'm trying to transition some of my life out of my phone and into a paper notebook because going into my phone is a distraction landmine. Anyone on nostr have any tips? #asknostr

Doing things requires stuff. Humans are tool users. What does minimalism actually say about someone then? I'm not saying I'm opposed to attempts to organize your things. I'm not talking about dirty, like college dorm half eaten pizza on the floor. I am planting a flag that the people who attempt to moralize minimalism in ownership and visual aesthetic can bite me. My clutter is the story of the tools of the many physical hobbies I've had over the years. I won't let you make me feel bad for being interesting and I won't join you in being boring.
