Reading this kids book series called Warriors with the kids. Big picture story is about a house cat who decides to run away and become a wild cat. So one of the kids is filling in MAGA boomer grandad about this story as they do. They are discussing the tradeoffs of the choice. MAGA boomer says he should have stayed a pet. I'm disgusted and kinda shocked but I probably shouldn't be. It makes total sense and it is consistent with their political choices. TLDR; MAGA boomers don't want to be free, they want to be the governments pet. You just have to trick them a bit to get them to be honest.
