I don't know if most people understand this or not but Bitcoin lightning payments are eventually batched as one single transaction on-chain. So therefore they get inserted into blocks and Mind by Bitcoin miners. Lightning payments are not going to hurt the Bitcoin blockchain as they are still part of the main chain. So I'm not sure what the argument about miners getting hurt by Bitcoin lightning payments is all about.

Everyone is saying how cool #olas is but I cannot get it to save my NWC string. It acts like it connects and says it's getting my balance and I see that the connection completes on my Alby Hub but it never saves in the Olas app. I also cannot upload a photo. It is sat here for 10 minutes saying it's uploading the photo but never does. I am using a Samsung Galaxy A23. Is anyone else having these issues? #asknostr

With all of the options for self-stprage these days and ways of syncing things from your cell phone to a home server it's crazy people are still cloud storing things. It's so fucking easy to set up something like an Umbrel at your house and using something like Syncthing to sync your phone items to your home server. It does this for you anywhere you are. You don't even have to be at the house to do it.

I have become quite the beer consumer this peak business season. Probably to numb my brain against all of the dumb lol
