Genuine question: Since Google already knows what apps you have installed (if you have an android) what's even the purpose of using alternative stores like Aurora, Uptodown, or APKPure? Obviously F-Droid has a purpose.

Idk shit about programming or tech in general really. But from reading all the comments on a reddit post I have, it sounds like I'm fucked. Without completely redoing everything in my phone and jumping thru a ton of hoops, Google and all my other apps can see and store everything I do (except maybe Signal messages).
