Food waste is a gold mine if you can build the systems to collect it and extract the value. Food shortages might put a dent in this though Composting - New soil creation Biodigesters - electricity creation Fermentation - alcohol based cleaning producta Many cities are enforcing composting programs but there's limited infrastructure in place to ensure clean product and end markets. Nothing gets recycled unless there's a market for it. Waste companies are paying to dump this stuff.
