I do not like making this comparison really but I noticed this: The Sacred vs. the Profane: Ramadan vs. Halloween Ramadan is purification. A month of fasting, prayer, and mercy. It cleanses the body of toxins, sharpens the mind, and nourishes the soul. The scientific benefits are undeniable-cancer reduction, autophagy, reduced inflammation. Even non-Muslims now adopt fasting for health. Halloween, on the other hand, is corruption. A night of gluttony, darkness, and idolatry. It poisons the body with sugar and seed oils, corrupts the mind with fear and confusion, and starves the soul of purpose. We fast to draw closer to Allah. They gorge to appease the devil. We seek mercy and forgiveness. They revel in sin and chaos. Ramadan is the straight path. Halloween is the path of destruction. Let us hold fast to our sacred traditions while the disbelievers drown in their filth.
