I'm sure most of my fellow Nostr users already know this, but it popped into my mind today so I figured I'd give a quick heads up just in case... If you use PGP, be careful about uploading your public key to public keyservers (IE: keys.openpgp.org). Data brokers, spammers, and scrapers regularly harvest those servers. Once your email + key is listed there, it can easily end up in marketing and spam databases. Better options: - Share the key directly with people you actually want to talk to. - Put it on a personal site behind a simple click-to-reveal or CAPTCHA (Cloudflare Turnstile works well) - Publish it where you control who can see it Most modern clients can still look up keys through their own systems or WKD when needed. You don't have to feed the public scrapers.

🚨More tech-news horror: 1. Chrome: 156.0.8078.79 fixes one critical bug and 19 high-severity ones. None are reported as exploited, but update and relaunch. 2. TeamViewer: 15.83 fixes CVE-2026-111585 (rated 8.8), where a malicious computer you connect to can run code on yours. 3. Ivanti Connect Secure: two more bugs were added to CISA's exploited list. Together with earlier ones they let attackers get root without logging in. 4. Android "SMS of Death": public exploit code is out. One silent text crashes the phone app and drops calls. 5. Hugging Face: fake "qwen2-tiny" models install crypto miners and backdoors if you load them with trust_remote_code. #nostr

Yes, the teleological argument or argument from design. You may like some of these passages and quotes below, and especially the song by Hazakim. We term this kind of music lyrical-theology or sometimes as "Hip-hologetics" - "For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse." (Romans 1:20) - "The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork." (Psalm 19:1) - "The more we get to know about our universe, the more the hypothesis that there is a Creator God, who designed the universe for a purpose, gains in credibility as the best explanation of why we are here." Lennox also frequently notes that the information in DNA is more naturally explained by an intelligent source than by undirected processes. (John Lennox) C.S. Lewis also wrote that nature itself does not fully teach the full glory of God, but it gives concrete meaning to that glory and awakens longings that point beyond pure materialism. #christian #music #musicstr #theology #nostr View quoted note →
