Encrypted Server Name Indication (ESNI) in the TLS protocol sound absolute fantastic to me and I think it would bring a big boost in privacy especially for people accessing self-hosted services from outside their LAN. I regularly contact me homeserver with a distinguished subdomain for every service. With ESNI it would not be detectable with service I am trying to access right now.
