So in the light of the recent #samouraiwallet takedown: do any of you have a good tool to backup FOSS projects?
Basically I would want a complete copy of the git as well as the releases, webpage, READMEs and perhaps issues and PRs.
All that packaged so that I can periodically update that screenshot and if the project is taken down I can access that snapshot without any references to the live site.

You can still and probably should go to and save the recent apk signatures and pgp keys. That way if someone has a copy saved somewhere, you can install that and trust its authenticity.
If you do have a recent copy of #samouraiwallet please share a torrent below or other link. We'll make sure it stays available!

Halving confessions: I set an alarm for 40mins before the estimated time of block 840.000 to get some sleep as I had to work early in the morning.
Miners did a lil sprint and I woke up 6mins late 😑.
Missed it but still saw the nice halving block animations on my own mempool instance.
This is not the first halving I slept through, Bitcoin will do fine without me and maybe I'll be there next time 😆
#Steuern
I am happily paying money for email hosting so that my emails are not farmed for advertising. Have been with privacy respecting paid providers since 2015
I will happily pay money for instant messaging if the app respects my privacy and does not log metadata. I paid for Threema licenses, although I don't use the messenger on a daily basis.
I will happily pay money for ad-free privacy-respecting search results. I was using DuckDuckGo for years now, but just found out about kagi.com and am testing them now. Paying a small amount of money (over lightning) for unbiased well-indexed search results sounds well worth it!
All of these services cost a lot of money to host for the providers, and you know the saying: either you are paying for the product or you are the product.
Aber wenn wir keine #Steuern zahlen, wer stellt dann die "Tempo 30 - Straßenschäden"-Schilder auf? 🤔
