The power of 2H₂O₂
In his 2017 book Hidden Epidemic (MedFox Publishing), Dr. Thomas Levy examines the contribution of hydrogen peroxide to acute viral respiratory infections. After the initial infection resolves, residual low-grade infection often remains in the mouth and nose, sustained by biofilms of pathogenic viral colonies. These pathogens can linger chronically—particularly in the tonsils—and, when swallowed, may impair gut, dental, and gum health. The resulting oxidative stress can contribute to intestinal barrier dysfunction (leaky gut). Dr. Levy proposes nebulized hydrogen as a potential approach for addressing these persistent infections.
