The Worldโs Call
The worldโs call resounds within,
Reminding us of love again.
Though pain and doubt may cloud our days,
We press on still, through silent haze.
Weary heart, do not wither so;
Only in light does beauty grow.
Darkness covers all in gloom,
Yet finds in itself a quiet room.
Were it not for the sunโs bright gleam,
Enticing us at times to dreamโ
Its steady circuit round a star
Will lead, at last, to who we are.
A single point of shining lightโ
We are no more, yet still burn bright.
