why doesnt ios 26 know how to handle homescreen widgets. the transitions are slow and stutter-y compared to 18. i want to go back but i know im going to have to get used to this eventually if i want to keep using ios 😩

after a few days of opening whatsapp and seeing a huge "sync your contacts" prompt at the top, i decided to delete it. i left a message in my active group chats for friends and family to find me on signal. it sucks to possibly lose connections, but im getting tired of trading privacy for convenience. and i hope my leaving will get at least one person to check out signal 🤞
