Person writes down your email address and other details, walks (slowly), from the top floor, to the accounts verification department, in the basement, slowly reads your email to a colleague, who happens to be deaf, the exchange takes sometime. The verifier, after checking, writes a 6 digit code on a piece of paper, gives it to the colleague who then walks back to the top floor using the stairs, then hand writes a note, including the code and proceeds to the email senders office in an adjacent building where they transcribe the information into an email and send back. You receive the 6 digit code… it is invalid, you took too long to use it. True story imo.
