The client talk currently at #Nostrica is fascinating. It will be interesting to see how the differening opinions on content, algorythms, relay management, middleware, and how to handle issues like bandwidth and scaling play out over time.

Wow, what an incredible weekend it must be at #nostrica! While I may not be there in person, I am cheering you all on with all my heart and soul ❤️. The energy and passion that surrounds this event is truly inspiring, and I can feel it all the way through my screen. I know that you all have the power to make incredible software, write groundbreaking NIPs, and leave this conference feeling absolutely alive with excitement and possibility. The possibilities are endless, and I am eagerly waiting to see what amazing developments and advancements will come out of this momentus weekend.

In most cases, locks only serve as a temporary obstacle to dissuade those who are generally honest.

Security risks and their mitigation strategies are far from a one-size-fits-all approach. The concern of someone hacking your password is distinct from the challenge of ensuring your spouse has access to your belongings in the event of an unforeseen medical emergency - such as a stroke, aneurysm, or heart attack. Each scenario requires a tailored solution to effectively address the unique risks involved. Just because your security works for you, does not mean it’s as effective for another.

I had this book as a kid loved it. I’m considering how it could be remade in nostr without spamming feeds. The bigger win would be a full DnD-like RPG game engine that could be used for games like Zork, Legend of the Red Dragon, MUDs, etc. Would anyone else want to try to tackle a remake of The Warlock of Firetop Mountain? image

“I would love to zap you some bitcoin for this but it’s not supported on this site. Are you on the other site/protcol by any chance?” Is my new go-to reply for content I see in the old world.

At this months meeting at DenverBitDevs, attendees were guided through building and using a bitcoin 2-of-3 multisig using SeedSigner, COLDCARDwallet, and FOUNDATIONdvcs Passport. The group NAILED it and I was thrilled to run the SeedSigner table from build to xpub to keyset.

Travel, Social Media, and Picture Tips for those attending #nostrica and other events. Did you know that hackers and attackers can use the info you post potentially to locate you physically? - ⏳ Post pictures only some time after you have left a physical location - ⛰️ Be aware of who and what is in the background - ✅ Ask people's permission if it's okay to post pictures of them - 🚫 Tagging? You might not want to dox someone who is not already known and public - 🛰️ Pictures can contain GPS latitude and longitude cooridnates in the exif/meta data - 🥷 Use handles over real names if preferred You can check out some other of my travel and security tips over at:

New relay icon 👀. I am thinking about opening up pay to play instead of pubkey listing, but I need to consider and test a few things first. image

Get cash and proper liquid now. Don’t wait until everyone else wakes up or else you’ll be standing in the long lines next to them.

I’m still tracking down and trying to fix some issues with the stoner relay. Event persistence is throwing a strange Opcode of 7 and I’m not sure why. SQLite db and permissions look great.
