The light flaky crust is sweetened with just a pinch of sugar and dusted with cinnamon. The ripe Bartlett pear slices are embraced with a sweet, syrupy glaze infused with plenty of nutmeg and a dash of cinnamon. My mug of daily brew is enhanced with only cream and no sweetener to balance the flavors of pie and coffee. I'm enjoying some fresh homemade pumpkin cinnamon rolls and my morning brew while I think of the day ahead when my kitten gets his stitches out from his injuries 2 weeks ago. Half day of work at the fiat mine managing minions then back to the homestead to take care of my kitten. I'll try to get his mugshot and send you all a picture with tomorrow's morning brew. He's a tough dude, lost a leg 2 weeks ago. Good morning #coffeechain ☕️ I'm back on Nostr and back to the fiat mines this morning. Not too much happiness today as I sip and contemplate the past 2 weeks. We had an unexpected animal accident at our homestead which led to my loss of interest in social interactions for a short while. To make the story short, one of my kittens snuck away while playing outside and met up with a dog. He ended up getting his front left leg amputated. No other injuries. I have been so miserable worrying about him. But he is doing much better and playing with his siblings like nothing happened. He is a tough little dude!❤️😼 Needless to say, playtime outside for the kittens has changed. So I'm back to the fiat mines today after an unexpected "vacation". My heart is even less here than ever. 😒 Stacking sats. Hustling the side hustle. Building a homestead that will work for me. #coffeechain #catstr #kittens #homesteading #countryliving
