Hey all👋 Just wanted to give an update on one our homestead projects. After living on our homestead for almost 2 years, we finally got the eyesore blue building repainted to match the house colors. This building was a single wide trailer house from the 1970s that we stripped down inside and turned into a workshop for my husband. My husband painted it all by himself. I'm so proud of how he works on the homestead. If you want to learn more about the restoration, I can put up some more notes with photos. Photos: before is blue. After is beige.

I'm looking forward to finishing my day at the fiat mine and planting my sweet potatoes tomorrow 😋 I've been sprouting sweet potato slips for a month now and they're ready to plant! I need a lot of ground cover in my food forest and these are highly recommended in my region. I'm always planning for the future - from saving seeds to building a food forest to stacking sats. Hey there homesteaders, My husband and I finally finished our last stretch of perimeter fencing on our recently purchased property if 3.3 acres. It was the first long stretch we ever did. The other sections were hired out or existing when we bought the property.
