GM☀️🤙💧 Shared this on Twitter yesterday. Hard to believe it's already been 12 years since I started taking my health seriously. I grew up in my dad's donut shop diner. Kids with bad eating habits turn into adults with bad eating habits. I was vegetarian from 16-30, and weighed as much as 260 lbs. Being obese doesn't feel good and isn't something to be proud of, but shaming didn't help. What helped was positivity & encouragement. I'm ~190lbs today and still have a lot of work to do. One day at a time.

Sometimes you meet bitcoiners in person & they want nothing to do with you. I usually go out of my way to bump into these people at conferences and give an overly excited hello. I don't even know what the beef is, but I'm here for the awkwardness! 😂 I could name a few but I won't. Would ruin the fun! I try to take the opposite approach. I love meeting random plebs, and will happily talk if I don't have anywhere to be. It's fun and interesting! Never be "too good" to stop and chat with someone.

Ditched Twitter Blue. Originally had it for fewer ads on mobile, but I was still seeing a ton. I'm no longer interested in paying, especially when you throw in everything else Twitter has been screwing up.

Call it SAD or whatever - winters take a toll on my psyche. I feel an urge to hibernate 3-4 months out of the year. Sun is a the greatest drug. I just go back from Florida and the trip snapped me out of this funk. I feel focused and energized. Need to make a permanent move soon™️.

I didn’t get into Bitcoin for it to become the global currency. I wanted ancap money that I could use while living amongst Free Staters in New Hampshire. It worked exactly that way in a small community, much like Nostr today. That tiny little bit of adoption felt like the biggest advance towards freedom and decentralization that I had ever seen. Enjoy these moments. There’s no guarantee Nostr will grow as big and fast as Bitcoin, but it already feels like a win to me. 🤙
