I've been observing the trend of woman's fashion over the past several years. A while back grunge became a thing. Then low rise, with huge bell bottoms. Next where mastodon pants. Each time I wonder how much uglier the fashion can be, before women stop listening to the lead designers, who, by the way, are all men. Who else remembers that add from the 80's showing Soviet era fashion, where all the models wore a sack. Is this really the future? Do women really want to compete with who can look the worst? Why would anyone want that.

The irony of AI is how it appears to be taking out the middle class, when in fact what it's doing is taking out big business, big government, and the war machine. In the end there will be just a few really big super computers with some kind of general intelligence running in then running most of the business in the world for fractions of a cent. No upper management, no middle management. And there is nothing anyone can do about it.
