a few days ago I was replacing switch doing electrical wiring. yesterday I was fixing the door 🚪 on some carpenter ting. today I was replacing water tap doing plumbing... I feel like an all round construction 🏗️ specialist man.

Did you know why Jesus said.., *"a prophet has no honor in his own house."*
Jesus did not speak these words as a proverb. He spoke them from personal experience.
When he returned from Nazareth where he was raised, the people struggled to believe that a person who was so familiar could be used by God. They looked at him and said,"Is this not the carpenter's son?" They knew his family, his background and his past. Their familiarity turned into unbelieve. That is when Jesus declared, *"prophet has no honor in his own home town, amongst his relatives and in his own household."* (Mark 6:4)
Luke confirms this when Jesus said planly .., *"no prophet is accepted in his own home town"* (Luke 4:24). And John later testified *"Jesus himself later said that a prophet has no honor in his own country"* John (4:44)
Even the son of God was rejected by those close to him. This pattern did not begin with Jesus. Joseph also received a dream from God showing that he would become a great man but when he shared the dream, his own brothers mocked him. Instead of believing him, they hated him, wanted to kill him and finally sold him into slavery
The rejection did not cancel the dream. (Genesis 37-50). Moses experienced the same thing though God chose him to deliver Israel. People asked, *"Who made you ruler/Judge over us?"* (Exodus 2:14)
Jeremiah was beaten and imprisoned for speaking God's truth. (Jeremiah 22). And Elijah become so discouraged from rejection that he cried to God to spare him (1Kings 19) Samuel was rejected when the people demanded for a king. And God said to him, *"they have not rejected you, they have rejected Me"*(1Samuel 8:7).
*"This is why many Christians are walking away today. They were called but not supported, anointed but we're not believed. Instead of encouragement they received mockery.., especially from those close to them. And because the rejection was heavy, they assumed that the calling was not real. But rejection does not mean that God is absent. Resistance does not mean that the calling is false. Of God called you, people do not need to understand it. Keep your eyes on the calling. Be strong. Be strong.bThe only way to prove them wrong is not by explaining your self. It's by becoming everything God said you should be.
