Yes.
Websockets is exclusionary tech to classes of hardware and networks.

You can just rate relays . . .
Who knew?
Who knew? This is a new level of nostr spam. Ew.

Syncthing is pretty effing epically magical.
I wish more stuff just worked that easily.
most NOSTR stuff lately doesn't even seem to be that interoperable.
More basic infra needs to be developed. Or, more infra needs to be simplified to the point that everything just effing works.
I want TNP to be the base for entire interoperable operating systems. Imagine turning on any device, signing into your own relay with your signing device/key/nsec/whatever, and EVERYTHING you want is just there, as you like, with no friction other than the physical connection speed of the device from anywhere in the world. All your pictures, music, documents, lists, contacts, books, movies, media, feeds, models (in my case 3D models, not AI stuff) and tools (probably AI for a lot of you) immediately, simply available. As long as you can connect to the internet, everything you want, build, read, listen to, or create is simply there. No hardware dependencies (aside from your relay), operating systems, or any other unnecessary stuff in the way, displayed on an interface you can completely customize.
I've yet to see anyone talk about that, at least to that extent. If someone has, that is good, but it isn't a notion that has spread enough to crack through all the vibecode slop of clients and apps and social BS.
When the protocol is the only thing you need to get everything you want, simply, efficiently, and nearly frictionlessly, you won't need anything else.
Mostly, I just want to never have to bother with signing up for or in to anything ever again.
I really can't stand most "social" interaction, even on nostr, even if I really like some of my fellow nostriches. I want The NOSTR Protocol to expand in depth, not in shallow breadth. Replace operating systems with simple databases of preferences and locations served with unbreakable crytographic attestations in near-instantaneous massive interoperabilty.
Anyway, that probably won't happen, and I can't make it happen since I don't have the capability to learn how to do that in my lifespan, but I can dream, and my dreams will be larger than most others because small dreams are boring and who the )(#*$(* wants to live like that?
