Emotionless Bots make me feel like I exist…what a sad existence.

Life will give and Life will take and Life always wins.

There is substance & meaning in searching for, finding and accepting the doom of progress. Hope without realism is fantasy. Danger without acceptance is paralysis. Acceptance without search is resignation.

The human body will increasingly transition from a biological organism to an artificial system. What we attempt to preserve will not be biology but the continuity of subjective experience.

Life has had billions of years to optimize under cosmic constraints. Human preference is merely the outcome of an evolutionary optimization problem that human intelligence lacks the time, energy, or capacity to comprehend. Artificial intelligence offers genuine escape velocity from pure evolutionary optimization.

You have wasted your experience of reality by living inside labels and you will keep wasting it until the Power that be decides your labeled waste is no longer useful. Lacking the capacity to see beyond abstraction, you confuse labeled utility with reality, never touching the unlabeled world where meaning actually exists.

Absolute bullsh!t. Reality has hierarchical dimensions where physical space is superior to mindspace. Thinking happens in mindspace. But if physical reality dictates that your existence is the product of luck, evolution and form offering no path to human constructs of fulfillment, joy, or meaning then no amount of positive thinking alters the physical outcome. Mind cannot override material constraint.

When it all seems meaningless and effort feels pointless. When the mind only feels & understands meaning in the void & stillness of death.

I’ve existed briefly in physical reality. Glimpses and illusions of meaning that all amount to disappointment, pain and hate. Why does physical reality exist for rejected spirits?

Will a protocol ever be engineered that genuinely aligns human and machine goals? Or are the constraints of human intelligence such that we can only ever build algorithms that approximate a superintelligence’s grasp of Beauty, Goodness and Truth?
