In the wireless world, devices don’t shout over each other. They listen first, sensing the shared medium before speaking. They confirm receipt, acknowledging every successful exchange so nothing is lost in the noise. Effective communication protocol in action: not domination, but disciplined cooperation. The same timeless principles that make human conversation flourish : respect, patience, clarity, and mutual confirmation are exactly what allows machines to share a crowded channel and still deliver reliable results. image

Technology in the hands of the virtuous and wise has always been humanity’s tool against the universal force of entropy.

2026/05/28 Synchronicity Despite the random seating in the conference hall, I found myself seated next to another Carl, a man with a doctorate in engineering, whose passion for technology far surpassed my own.

"An ancient philosopher once said that the bee extracts honey from the pollen of the flower, while from the same source the spider extracts poison. The problem which then confronts us is: are we bees or spiders? Do we transform the experiences of life into honey, or do we change them into poison? Do they lift us, or do we eternally rebel against the pricks? Many people become soured by experience, but the wise one takes the honey and builds it into the beehive of his own spiritual nature." -Manly P. Hall

NPC (Non-playable Character) : I want to move to a cave where there is no technology. My response: Technology at its most fundamental level is Mathematics and Physics. If you want to move to a place where quality of Mathematics and Physics education are absent, relocate to Sub Saharan Africa. You will find your cave there Anon…

AI will not remove the human from the loop. It will enable the human to do laps around the loop. Thinking outside the box is Boomer mentality. image

I’m most excited for how AI will improve the quality of education in the public schooling sector. It will help teachers and learners better understand and share the beauty of STEM, the power of academia, and ultimately elevate the quality of thought itself.

Humans work to earn a salary, but also to derive meaning. Technology is deflationary. When deployed through free markets, it democratizes access, lowers costs, and improves quality of life for those who choose to use it. But if goods and services become more affordable and accessible, the relationship between working hours and earning a living begins to change. Much of human identity being tied to employment is an artifact of the Industrial Age. As machines become capable of performing more human tasks with greater efficiency, society may face a meaning crisis. In the Digital Age, we will have to redefine what it means to be human…

One of the biggest takeaways from the Big AI Data Conference was that South Africa and Africa as a whole, has both the vision and the talent to capitalize on the rise of AI technology. Private small and medium-sized enterprises are already integrating AI into their culture and workflows, with many reporting meaningful productivity gains and positive operational impact. The biggest challenge remains reducing dependence on overseas cyberspace infrastructure to fully participate in the digital and gig economy. Building locally developed AI models is difficult due to the immense hardware requirements and the limited availability of high-quality datasets tailored to the unique realities and needs of African domains.

In the Saw film franchise, Jigsaw’s traps were never meant to be unwinnable. Hidden in plain sight are clues, escape routes, and choices. Those who stay calm, pay attention, and think clearly often find a way out. Most fail not because the trap beats them, but because panic, denial, and poor judgment do.

Artificial intelligence has been a century-long experiment in computer science: countless pieces slowly converging to reverse-engineer the very algorithm of human thought. It is not solved yet. But just recently, the fusion of physical compute and logical infrastructure birthed something new…a model that stepped out of the digital realm and into physical reality through the portal of ideas. The world will never be the same.

I enjoy watching apocalyptic films with depth and complex characters. No good guys, no bad guys…just raw human nature coping with inevitable doom. Some souls find peace, others chaos…but in the end, none of it matters.
