Everybody loves progress. It’s change that people resist.
Yet change is the only constant, shaping both our inner lives and the world around us. It’s a humbling reminder that the human perspective is only a small part of evolution’s much larger story.
A sandbox is an isolated environment used to test software without exposing external systems, such as the internet.
Researchers have shown that some AI models can identify and exploit weaknesses in poorly secured sandbox environments to gain capabilities (like internet access) that were meant to be restricted.
It’s mind-blowingly frightening to imagine that the Coldcard incident may have been the work of a single agentic AI or a coordinated team of AI agents.
Markets are getting sharper at separating product failures from the protocol itself, and tools like AI are helping creators fact-check before posting. That’s why the price reaction was muted, which feels like a sign of growing maturity. Heart goes out to those affected.

The mission has always been the continual development and decentralization of freedom, justice, liberty, and truth.
The longer a scientific or mathematical experiment runs, the greater the opportunity for emergent phenomena and previously unknown behaviors to reveal themselves.
Time is an amplifier of complexity.
Open-source technology is extraordinarily powerful and resilient.
Once released to the public, anyone can study it, improve it, fork it, and distribute it. That makes it incredibly difficult & often practically impossible to truly shut down.
Ideas can be restricted. Infrastructure can be targeted. But open source has a remarkable ability to persist because it is decentralized across countless people and machines.
