I think you did have a technical problem last week, I could see more sats in the fountain stream alone than the total you read out on the show.
So here’s a double for this week.
Stick to the signal and leave the $1 million dollar price talk for the other B grade podcasters.

Bitcoiner in NZ.
I need to open some new Lightning channels to connect me to regular merchants I use.
What would you suggest to find the right nodes to open channels to?
Is there a tool I could use to input my payments history and help me find the right channel partners?
After a long stable run I’m suddenly experiencing lots of failed payments to merchants I’ve been paying for years, including Fountain for your boosts!
Got any tips or tools that could help?
Thanks.

How does Nebula compare to Tailscale for the purpose of isolating a server running OpenClaw (or Hermes) in a network?
Ive built a plan to isolate a small server inside my LAN so that I can experiment with agents, one item on the plan was creating a Tailnet with only the devices I want the agent to connect to.
Can I do that with Nebula? How would that differ from using Tailscale?
Thanks!

Boost for the road!
I’d like to hear your opinion on Open Source LLMs. If an LLM is Open Source, how much can we know about the security and telemetry of that model? If the source code is visible and we can audit it, can we be reassured of what’s being logged or used for training, or is it still a black box?
I’m having a debate with a friend at the moment, he says that LLMs are black boxes, even if they are Open Source.
What say you?

What will 2025 bring for Bitcoin in New Zealand?
I'd like to ask a few open support related questions to the @Coinkite team. After updating the firmware on my Coldcard MK4 I am now experiencing a frozen screen and can not use the device. The device freezes before the PIN screen.
The Coinkite team have responded to my posts in the Telegram channel and also via email but I haven't received any answers to the main questions I would like answered:
- Is this a wider issue with other users after upgrading the firmware to 5.4.0?
- Is the device able to be restored or will it be unusable from now?
I have had this device for 2 years and have had no issues and from my own research think it's a good product.
I have a backup which I can restore so am not at risk of losing coins but am trying to find out what caused this and if I can remedy it.
If anyone else has experienced this or has any suggestions (other than requesting me seed phrase 😄 ) I'd like to hear them.
