WIP - void knight cover art

Is there any project out there or an attempt on having a decentralized pseudonymous system for unique identification, where a person can only create one and only one digital ID? Could be really useful to solve online bots issues, voting manipulation, ai generatd trash, etc. On the other hand it would extremely challenging to resolve the risk of someone being linked to their unique ID and losing their privacy forever Most likely will have to be dependant on some biometric technology that is widely available on common mobile phones, some sort of distributed ledger, and clever incentive mechanisms ...or maybe it's impossible to pull off without sacrificing centralization/privacy
