Anyone else going through their bank accounts this weekend, making sure your funds in each bank are well withing the deposit protection limit? Well, of course, nothing can happen to the banks in this country, you might say? Maybe not, but better be on the safe side… Thinking of all the backdoor meetings going on this weekend. Talking points being written to calm us down, make us all think everything is okay, it's all under control, trust us...

How do you teach your kids bitcoin? I am trying out this with my 8yrs old daughter: I`ll pay her sats one-to-one for points she gets from doing household tasks registered in the Choreful app (kids tasks + I added adult tasks as well). I promised to exchange (buy back) the sats for cash when she wants. Just praying there is no bull market anytime soon... Now my wife wants the same deal, but she is going to ruin me, so I am trying to talk my self out of it. This is the choreful app: Which wallet to choose for a child? I am thinking of just doing Muun or Wallet of Satoshi to make it simple and user friendly for a child. I`ll do the self custody part later. Any other thoughts on how to do this? Maybe npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx or npub1rxysxnjkhrmqd3ey73dp9n5y5yvyzcs64acc9g0k2epcpwwyya4spvhnp8 could make some kids tutorials for us?

#[0] do you know if there is a place in Oslo where you can buy coffee with lightning? ⚡Or do I have to go all the way to Haugesund?

Awesome episode with Troy Cross on npub1a3hrd4wfawr578d5y5l0qgmh7lx8q6tumfq0h7eymmttt52veexqkcfg37 I really enjoyed listening to Troy (as always) talking about death, religion and sardines. And I say that as a “functional atheist”. However, writing this sitting in Norway, I found the last comments from Troy on Norway as a “socialist” country, and how the childcare and education situation is just fueled by oil, as pretty superficial. Of course we are spoiled, and this extreme high living standard is probably not sustainable. But how come Iraq, Nigeria and other oil rich countries are not experiencing the same abundance for the majority of their populations? How come Sweden, our closest neighbor, who has zero oil, still has an equally if not better education and child care system? Its more foundational than where your income comes from: it's about how you organize your commons; about small income differences, and high mutual trust. The foundation that has enabled what Troy saw here was set up long before oil was discovered in the 1970s. Well, I'll stop there. I haven't found Troy on Nostr, so hopefully someone can convey this message to him.

#[0] and #[1] , please start cross-posting your tweets on nostr! We need more real content here, not just geeks talking about nostr. #[2] can you convince Troy Cross to come over here too? We need more philosophers as well.
