Well I suppose I shall post a life update! After stepping down from my management position in the food service industry I went to working with a friend at his custom cabinetry and mill working company. Learned a lot of really valuable & cool skills, gained a bunch of useful experience, and got to spend a bunch of time with one of my best friends who I consider like a brother to me. Recently I’ve stopped working with him as I’m finally approaching the completion of my pre-requisites for my electricians apprenticeship. I have a final test to write for physics and then I’ll be applying. So close I can taste it!!!!

Something I find I really enjoy about Nostr is that people are more open to sharing their ideas, and generally in response others will share theirs even if they disagree. In that case as well, folks tend to engage in respectful discourse rather than argue and devolve to insults like other internet subcultures. TLDR; Nostr FTW 🔥

Wish I could find more car and JDM content on here. Literally one of the only things keeping me from solely using Nostr.

Not only did I make good money today, but I made better than what my salary would’ve paid for the same hours, spend time with one of my best friends, got to work on my strength, hone my skills, and develop new skills. Grateful life’s path has come this way.

Just finished my first 16 hour day of installs at my new job. Never did I work this long or this hard at my old position in restaurant management, but I’m happier today than I ever was coming home before.
