I used to burn AI credits just transcribing audio files. Then I used a local whisper python library to start doing it on my laptop, but it took FOREVER. My new c++ implementation not only had parallel implementations but took advantage of the neural chip in my M4 Macbook. Now I process hours of audio in MINUTES.
