Seeing a lot of talk about #Hermes vs #OpenClaw.
Study the difference between front-loading overkill context (Hermes), and just-in-time (JIT) context loading (OpenClaw). The reason Hermes "just goes off and does it" and OpenClaw goes back-and-forth asking questions is all down to Hermes front-loading and consuming tons of tokens upfront, often needlessly.
TokenBurnMaxxing versus fine-tuning. Once you fine-tune, they end up kinda the same. β You can make OpenClaw front-load like Hermes. You can make Hermes JIT like OpenClaw.
There are sandbox/toplogy/infra differences which may push you towards one or the other, but in terms of general agentic behaviour which 99% of peeps are looking for, you need to watch your tokens and not overburn them needlessly IMHO.
Just my two sats. π€·

#VISOR #OSINT update: no project of mine is complete without a Quake-console CLI terminal interface! :meow_bongo_keyboard:
I keep getting asked for VISOR access... so like... I might make it publicly accessible... π°π
News hits different when it's visually displayed geographically, and linked based on context to various places.
I initially made this for myself, but many peeps I've showed it to seem to think it's neat and have asked me if they can access it too. First stage would be open access. Far down the line may be open sourcing it, but it's a bit of a behemoth and sprawls across quite a lot of services to tie it all together.
Sharing is caring, I just gotta figure out how to pay for hosting & maintaining it all if it's gonna be public, lel.

WETH on Aave's Ethereum mainnet market have been unfrozen.
Utilization is still at like 100%, so no, you can't withdraw. lel.
Too bad they cucked the interest rate curve on WETH so it's only like 4.3% APY. Under normal circumstances you'd be printing 12-15% APY I reckon at 100% utilization. I understand why they done it tho.
I quickly withdrew my stables when the exploit occurred, but I'm of half a mind to put my stablecoins back in there, over 13% APY right now. Definitely risk not worth the reward, but I am a degenerate after all. :MEOWDY:

Imagine arguing to protect the "hUMaN rIgHtZ" of those who would rape our innocent children. They are inhuman anyway. I can think of no cases where it would be better to keep them alive.
And the message would be a strong deterrent to protect those in the future.
How is this not a win-win?

Customised my #keyboard + dongle firmwares recently and flash'em on my keyboard pieces! Display on the dongle now shows WPM in real-time and other neat stuff. Running ZMK + Prospector dongle firmware code. This status screen is called Operator (first image).
I haven't been tracking my WPM until now, but apparently I am regularly hitting 130-150 WPM... sheesh.
I love open source & standards because it allows for customization and choice, where vendors prefer lock-in and lack choice.
I've been using this keyboard for maybe 10y, got it repaired, upgraded and retrofitted recently, and it's still kickin'. Gone from wired to now wireless, and has some of the softest switches around for RSI/carpal tunnel syndrome (kailh speed coppers).
My friend helped me 3D print the custom casings and build it for me (cats and soldering irons don't go well together). Plan to use this for another 10y or more, and keep repairing/retrofit upgrading as needed.
U can just build tingz. #foss
