Take delight in things for themselves without reference to yourself… The chain of memory is resurrection.
A non-discriminatory cyclical Dust Busting to cleanse the Bitcoin UTXO Set of Dust/encourage Bitcoin Best Practices and UTXO Management seems like a positive sum incentive to me. Feedback welcome.
Am I wrong to be mad the Samourai guys pled guilty and now the legal precedent is in place to go after other Bitcoin users & devs even if they get pardoned? Am I wrong to be mad that the Samourai guys practiced shitty & reckless public relations? Stay wary my merry fellows.✊🏼🫡
The problem with saying the “inflation bug was a bigger threat to Bitcoin than Spam” is how it implies we can’t defend ourselves from Spam Attackers unless it reaches an existential risk threat level, which only increases the risk of “too little, too late” But did Satoshi wait for Spam to reach an existential crisis level before implementing the block size limit? No, Satoshi and the early Bitcoin users fortified Bitcoin preemptively with the block size limit. The longer we wait to defend ourselves from Spam, the more the risk increases.
Everyone in Bitcoin was always so worried about the 51% Hash Attack on Bitcoin that we overlooked the 15.1% Degenerate Nihilism attack vector and the 51% Block Template attack vector. Run Knots + Ocean + DATUM to neutralize this attack. Datacarrier = 0 Filters up.✊🏼 image
Bitcoin is backed by hatred toward Fiat Slavery and Free Riding. If you know, you Knots. Filters up.✊🏼

To help ease people’s concerns regarding the current Bitcoin Spam Debate, here’s how I see it. Bitcoin with Proper Filters > Bitcoin Civil War > Fiat Clown World Where there’s a Will there’s a Way. Do knot go gentle into that good night. It’s necessary. Filters up.✊🏼 image
Withdrawing Bitcoin from the Exchange is the Short Squeeze. Withdraw = Short Squeeze Know what you own. Filters up.✊🏼
Spam is not an existential threat ≠ Spam will never be an existential threat Clearly, Spam/DDoS risk was a big enough risk to Bitcoin that Satoshi decided to create a block size limit. Witness discount/block size limit increase feels more ReTodded by the day. Filters up.✊🏼
The Spam Apologists embody the same complacent attitude that Treebeard had before the hobbits finally got him to see all the damage that Saruman was doing to Fangorn Forest. Spam will be priced out from Bitcoin even faster if we take steps to mitigate Spam. image
Stealing - to take the property of another WRONGFULLY and especially as a habitual or regular practice There’s nothing wrong with freezing weaponized Dust UTXOs that obviously harm the Bitcoin Network. The Cat is justified. Webster’s Dictionary is useful. Good morning.
Spam degrades the infrastructure and purchasing power of the Bitcoin Network and is a violation of property rights. Spam is a kind of theft. Defending ourselves from attackers’ weaponized toxic zombie UTXOs by making them unspendable is not theft/confiscation.
Knots values Bitcoin more highly than Core. All things being equal: More Filters Up = More Number Go Up. If you know, you Knots + Ocean + DATUM image
We should adapt Bitcoin to an evolving threat environment. The fixes Satoshi needed to implement in 2010 and the fixes we need to implement today are guided by the same principles: Protect Bitcoin’s Monetary Quality. Filters up.✊🏼
Bitcoin with Filters is a faster horse than a Spammers’ Paradise with no Filters. Bitcoin with Filters is a lean mean Money Machine. Spammers Paradise is perpetually bloated. Adam Back, GMax, etc don’t get it. Filters Up = Purchasing Power Go Up If you know, you Knots.✊🏼🔥
Satoshi launched Bitcoin with defects/vulnerabilities that had to be fixed. Satoshi fixed the defects. Bitcoin Core made changes to Bitcoin with SegWit & Taproot that introduced new defects/vulnerabilities. Core pretends the defects don’t exist. Conclusion: Core is dumb.
Vulnerabilities (bugs) to non-monetary data (spam) were introduced by the SegWit & Taproot upgrades. Obviously mitigating vulnerabilities to non-monetary data was the driving motivation for the block size limit. Then we raised block size limit & introduced more vulnerabilities. Therefore, common sense reveals that we should mitigate these new Spam vulnerabilities that we introduced. Very similar to how Satoshi mitigated Spam vulnerabilities that Satoshi technically introduced by not having a block size limit in the first place when Bitcoin was released.
Paying the IRS your taxes in Pennies is basically the only good form of Spam I can think of… 🤣 But 235 BTC taking up ~40% of the Bitcoin UTXO set is obviously a big problem for Bitcoin that needs to be addressed with decisive action. If you know, you Knots. Filters up. ✊🏼🫡
How long will we let the enemies of Bitcoin weaponize UTXOs to attack the Bitcoin itself? If anyone has read The Lord of the Rings, this is the part of the story where the hobbits have to convince Treebeard to fight back against Saruman. image
