I chase the sun and make pixels dance. Living non sequitur.
You don't have to agree with Q, don't have to believe in it. But I think we can all agree that we want some change, yeah? We blow how much money out of our ass, but we can't secure the goddamn elections? How about that. Secure elections. No more bitching. Not saying it has to be blockchain but COME ON.
The internet is a tool. Tools are meant to ENHANCE the life of the user. The problem begins when the tool doesn't do that, and instead detracts from the life of the user. Succumbing to the digital world instead of using it to assist connection in the real one.
You know, I don't have much to say to other people that is of worth. I think that makes me uninteresting. But it is useful for listening to people.
Seriously, you can't find people to chat through the Messages button on iris.to? You have to find them in the search bar, and then click their profile, and THEN you can message them. On Satellite, you don't even HAVE a search bar. Oh, perfect shitshow. It's not like I'm a developer anyway.
@Quentin Is there any way to change a NIP address name after the account is created? i.e. from nostr_playthru@nostrverse.net to sunchaser@nostrverse.net.
Aha! Maybe it's the "follow distance." Let's see if this works, maybe now more users will pop up.
I think relay neighborhoods a la GeoCities could be really cool. Also, come ON iris! WE CAN MAKE THE CHECK MARKS PURPLE! But not super interested in having "trending" posts and creators or "communities" take up half the screen. If I wanted to browse twitter or reddit I would browse twitter or reddit. I'm not here for that crap. I think I'm also having trouble getting true "global" access. Where do I find the middling users like me???
Good evening all. Time to look at bookstores and farmer's market stands. Call me crazy, but this just might work...
Diving into a new community to grow the brain. Getting noticed requires making some noise, and some of us are very bad at making noise. Personally more of a Ferdinand.
Being an internet personality requires having personality and being on the internet. AKA I'm an internet personality disorder. Cheers!
