how does muting work in #damus ? when i mute a npub for 1 month or indefinitely, when does it disappear from my feed? does it retro or does it suppress notes after i mute? or is it best practice to unfollow, instead?

i castrated a lot of cows today. mama helped me with that. my brothers did the herding & sorting. dad did the branding. mission complete. we rest for a couple of hours & we braai after a hard days work.

my cowboy’s older brother is one of the most handsome, attractive, & fit guy i have ever met. he has that _hollywood face_ & a talented bareback riding cowboy once upon time, but underneath all of the glitter, he is an emotionally & mentally wrecked man. he has had to get bailed out of jail for bar fights & other misdemeanors locally & sometimes in neighboring states. it’s his 2nd time this year tonight. what a waste.
