#Synology announced going forward with 2025 models, they will now be locked in to their own branded hard drives, SSDs, and M.2 drives only. Too bad... I used to like Synology #NAS boxes a LOT in the past, before going full open source software. Confirms my choice to work in and support open source projects be the good one.
