Active vs Passive funds?
Active funds are managed by a fund manager with the aim to ‘beat the market’
Passive funds, aim to replicate the market, or ‘track’ an Index
Passive funds have lower fees and sometimes perform as well as active funds
Income (INC) vs Accumulation (ACC) funds?
If you want to withdraw dividends/interest to provide an #INCOME then income funds will allow you to do this
If you want to reinvest any dividends/interest then accumulation funds do this for you - this will give you ‘compound interest’
