I see that transmitting notes and other stuff by relays is as fraught a process as it ever was.

Sorry I've been absent - I needed to cut back on distractions so I could finish my book.

Despite the French name, these guys are Japanese and famously never released an official album in the 40-odd years they were playing, garnering their legendary reputation instead off the back of a series of bootleg live recordings of variable quality. Oh, and the original bass player hijacked a plane and defected to North Korea.
The amplifier buzz in this track is kind of awful but it also kind of makes it and the final solo is one of my favourite pieces of music to listen to at ear-splitting volume.
Haven't listened to this in years - forgot just how good these guys were.

Strauss's "Also Sprach Zarathustra" might seem like an odd choice of cover for a fusion act but, given the era, it was probably inevitable.

I don't know, maybe I'll just post Can tracks from now on.

1 sat? You expect me to check my notifications to see who zapped me 1 sat?
Last night I dreamed I was stuck somewhere and forced to listen to an AI-generated rendetition of Hillary Clinton singing "Atlas" by Battles.

I was going to comment that Javier Milei looks like he plays in a garage rock band but it turns out he actually did for a while. I'd vote for him based on that alone.

ME: Wow, Burning Man really sounds like hell on earth.

Damn. Gary did just drum - he owned the studio where Pavement recorded their early EPs and first album, some of the best music made in the 90s.

This clip of Vanilla Fudge on the Ed Sullivan show is so insane you'd almost think it was a parody of they weren't so damn good.

I think I've tried nearly every Nostr client currently available and I have to say I don't particularly like any of them.
These guys had an unbelievably heavy sound for 1968 - this sounds more like something The Dead C might have recorded in the early 2000s. I don't think this was even released at the time but the same line-up changed their name to International Harvester, then Harvester, then achieved legendary status as Trad Gras Och Stenar before shortening the name to Traden a few years ago. They've also changed their sound a few times along the way but everything they've ever released is worth checking out.

I see the technocrats are having a normal one.
