270 days and waiting...

I bought a lawn sweeper, leaf picker-upper push along thingy. Curious to see how it works. The 100+ year old oak tree that shades my backyard is about to drop a planet-covering load of huge crunchy oak leaves. It does this shit every year! #gardening #gardenstr

Made baked buffalo cauliflower for lunch, it’s quick and easy. Side of freshly made miso soup for gut health. #yummstr #foodstr

#Gardening update: I've cut and assembled all the boxes that make up my raised beds. Next, moving them into place, stacking, securing, and adding all the top rails. But first a quick clean up and off to an eye exam.

Busy Monday ahead. Need to get to work on the remaining raised beds woodwork. Then fill with compost and leaves from around the yard. Hopefully in time for an annual eye exam and new glasses this afternoon. Time to start #proofofwork

Salmon, Brussels, Jasmine rice with fresh ginger. Small side of kimchi. Yumm! #foodstr

Made them again for watching college football! #foodstr

Baked Buffalo Cauliflower Bites

These vegetarian healthy-ish Buffalo Cauliflower Bites are made with simple ingredients and paired with ranch dressing. Perfect for game day.

Just a matter of time! Got bitten by a snake just now clearing out some old piles of leaves and gardening debris to make way for some raised bed boxes I'm about to build. Pretty painful bite but very confident it was a non-venemous Eastern rat (black) snake. I probably sacred it as much as it scared me. They're great mousers! Still have some more clearing to do but taking a break! #countrylife #gardening
