Privacy is an illusion these days. The constant consumer tracking is getting out of control. The worst part is companies often use the data irresponsibly or maliciously.

‘Rumors of War, 2019’ by Kehinde Wiley Kehinde Wiley created this sculpture in response to the Confederate-era monuments littered all across the US that serve no other purpose than to celebrate a failed resistance, white supremacy, and slavery. This is the actual work of art that I was referring to in my first post #[0]​ and #[1]​. It’s things like this that make me wish Damus allowed people to delete notes.

Censorship isn’t good but neither is harassment. Let’s make sure that we are using the freedom that Nostr offers to uplift others. Some of you are proving that certain platforms did a good thing by banning you.

The human body is amazing.

Companies should be held accountable when they fail to protect customer data. Heavy fines that actually cut into profits would go a long way to incentivize businesses to protect the privacy of consumers. At the very least, the increased liability would make companies reconsider the type and amount of data that they want to collect and manage.

There is something very therapeutic about crying. I honestly wish that I allowed myself to do it more often.

Free diving is definitely on my bucket list.

Sometimes that best way to find the answer is to sit in silence and meditate.
