I say shit about shit
It's very entertaining watching MSNBC lurch back and forth between hyperbolic catastrophizing, and bloviating with nervous confidence that voters will choose Harris, all while peppering in criticisms of the rules of our Republic, free speech, electoral college, etc being a "threat to democracy". ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคก
Property taxes are actually one of the least objectionable taxes. Before you rage away in my replies, hear me out: There are no federal property taxes. You pay property taxes to your county, and they kick some up to the state. It makes sense that your support for public services in your community be relative to how much of the community you own.
If a politician like Kamaliar fails to clearly articulate their policies, it's not due to a lack of communication skills. She has people working for her who are highly skilled in communication techniques. It is deliberate obfuscation, because her policy goals are not in the best interest of American citizens.
A 20% down payment on a house means that the value of the house can fall by almost 20% before the homeowner is underwater on their mortgage. It protects both the buyer and the bank. By not requiring a down payment, the bank is gambling that the value of the home will continue to rise.
Banks are starting to do the same shit that led to the 2008 financial crisis. Lately I've been seeing ads for 1% down mortgages and eligibility for sub-600 credit scores.
