If you quote post “probably nothing” about some suits buying bitcoin there’s a high likelihood that you are “probably retarded”.
Scientism is faith based.
The perennial paradox of my urge to be the most paranoid, opsec minded, anonymous bitcoiner, contrasted by my urge to spend Bitcoin everywhere that accepts it and therefore publicly identify myself.
Canada is a country with beautiful, vast wilderness and nature, from coast to coast. But most people who live in Canada live in cities and so their reality is gross dirt coloured snowbanks and being overwhelmed by reckless immigration. Elbows up.
I remember 20+ years ago I had a Vice magazine “subscription” (a local magazine stand would hold a free copy for me). I looked forward to it each month. It was edgy and subversive, and then it wasn’t.
I wasn’t here for the early days of Bitcoin Magazine, but from seeing back issues, it seems like this is the pretty good parallel.
If you’re subversive, you’ll eventually be offered a seat at the institutional table to keep you in check.
Humans have yet to find an antidote to comprising their values over flattery and more “power”.
Do not underestimate the effectiveness of a good shadow boxing home routine for cardio.
Currently reading The Undiscovered Self by Carl Jung, and it reads almost like a libertarian text in many ways, to me anyway. The focus on individual sovereignty and the avoidance of becoming simply part of the mass.
The infantile dream-state of the mass man is so unrealistic that he never thinks to ask who is paying for this paradise.

I think people are slowly, but surely, realizing that defi and crypto are fake and ghey.
I used to be obsessed with hockey. But it’s been years since I’ve paid attention. Joined a playoff bracket challenge at work for a laugh, and while picking my bracket, was surprised to find out Utah has a team now!? Should be fun, I guess. I chose my bracket on pure vibes.
The individual who is not anchored in God can offer no resistance on his own resources to the physical and moral blandishments of the world. For this he needs evidence of the inner, transcendent experience which alone can protect him from the otherwise inevitable submersion in the mass.

I’ve been training early in the day. I run to the gym to train Muay Thai from 6am-7am. Out the door by 5:30am. Then work.
By the time the evening rolls around I kinda forget I trained and feel like I’m being a lazy piece of shit.
Then I remember I trained early and proceed to be lazy piece of shit.
On monitoring the situation.
Monitor it. Don’t dwell in it.
When you’re driving, you concentrate on what is 10 feet in front of you.
If you hear a bridge is out a few miles down, you adjust route. You don’t ignore the bridge being out, but you also don’t dwell on the bridge being out.
Adjust, then shift perspective back to what’s 10 feet in front of you.
GM. Listen to this and then get after whatever it is you wanna get after. Let’s go.
What a day to take stock of all your blessings, am I right?
