I’m a complete noob when it comes to actually reading Mises. Starting down the rabbit hole with The Ultimate Foundation of Economic Science. I’m pleasantly surprised to see how much he has to say about epistemology.

GM Nostr. Recently turned 40. Left my job. And I’m embarking on a 3 month road trip. I believe they call this a midlife crisis. I’m calling it a temporary retirement while I figure out what I’m drawn to work on next. I was feeling stuck and stagnant. The plan is to design a self-study curriculum on the things I feel called to. Stay sharp while introducing the novelty of new surroundings on the road trip. The soul craves it. The soul craves to be unstuck.

GM Nostr. Woke up today with intentionality and did the things I know I should be doing. Kept my phone on sleep mode for first hour of the day. Stretched, meditated, hydrated, made some coffee, and read an important book. I know very well that I must be intentionally ordering my psyche. But the pull of legacy social media knocks me out of that. I’ve found myself reaching for my phone as I wake. And this is sabotaging my day from the get go. Time to remember what I always knew and take care to order my psyche. Have a blessed day and spend some sats.
