Isn’t it interesting that many people oppose monopolies in business but don’t really give much thought to monopolies on jurisdictions, i.e. the state?
Seems like a ripe avenue to convince people (mainly leftists I’d guess) to support breaking up into smaller nation states.
Bitcoin is a necessary but not sufficient precursor to individual and cultural transformation.
If Bitcoin has managed to give you your time back, use it wisely.
Had a discussion with a friend this evening. He was peripherally involved in “crypto” some years ago. His impression is that Bitcoin has failed. That it’s been captured.
It occurred to me that it very likely looks like if your contact with Bitcoin is snippets of MSNBC clips of Saylor, or Pomp, or treasury company announcements, ETFs etc.
You gotta be in the trenches to see that the revolution is still happening.
It’s not promised. We need to steward it. But I’ll be damned if I’m giving up on it now.

Something like bitcoin is necessary but not sufficient for this transformation.
I guess I needed a reminder about how much I despise fiat. Wise just flagged a transfer to another bank account of mine because I used the company that paid me as a reference. This company has been paying me for years into this Wise account and all of a sudden their name is a red flag. Boy, I sure do feel protected.
Fuck banks.
