As someone who spent a lot of time thinking about and pushing back on the “woke mind virus”, I have to say at this point, anytime anyone brings up the “woke mob” or “woke left” in an argument, I roll my eyes. Not because I disagree technically with their argument, but because they’ve clung to this frame past its expiry. It does not apply broadly anymore. What we are seeing is a different kind of monster, and the only frame I can think about now is Kayfabe. If you’re unfamiliar with that term, familiarize yourself with it because it’s going to help break those maladaptive frames. It remains to be seen whether it allows you to easily create new frames, but hey, knowing is half the battle. Yes, there are still “woke retards” out there and they deserve to be called out on their retardation. But that framing has been planted for them to follow and for you to push back on.
