I had a similar incident when my daughter was 5. She's now 23 and I'm still embarrassed every time I think about it. The family still lives down the block. This involved an incident on the bus. My daughter was crying, saying her former friend had put a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her. I lost it on the kid's parents before getting all the facts. The "knife" was a nail file. I blew it out of proportion. I still see the dad in the neighborhood occasionally. We're civil, but I know he thinks I'm an idiot.

I still have some sats left on my Mutiny wallet. With the reserve eating up most of it, I might has well zap here until it's empty.

"Who shall be judge, whether the prince or legislative act contrary to their trust? … To this I reply, The people shall be judge; for who shall be judge whether his trustee or deputy acts well, and according to the trust reposed in him, but he who deputes him, and must, by having deputed him, have still a power to discard him, when he fails in his trust?" John Locke
