Today was one of those days were I am too bullish about #nostr to even think straight. I've decided that #nostr is actually more important than #bitcoin when it comes to fixing the world. We the #plebs have spent generations leaving under the filter or algorithm is one group or another. Think about what is the Catholic church if not an algorithm that decided what was the truth and what wasn't.
We need nostr because we need to be able to tell the truth directly to one another regardless of it hurts your feelings.
For example I recently discovered a YouTube channel called "The Research Guy". The just of his channel is that most "black" people in America are actually native Americans from tribes that have been scrubbed from the public consciousness. When I first watched a couple of his videos I thought he was full of it. But then I found another YouTube channel with the same theory and information but I liked the way he presented it. Between these two channels they convinced me to do my families genealogy and I discovered my mother's side of the family is definitely native Americans. The Pequot of New England. Ironically they where one of the first tribes to fight the colonist over them counterfeiting their money... Wampum. As I was reading this I couldn't stop laughing. I am descended from people who physically fought inflation of their currency.
Today the "The research guy" made an announcement that he believes his videos are being shadow banned. I am lucky enough to be alive and awake enough where I was able to see this content on YouTube before it was censored and "do my own research". But if they have been able to keep this from me a 40 y/o man, and his mother, what else are they able to simply memory hole. They been running their algorithms on us for a lot longer than the internet. And we all kinda accept that to some degree myself included.
But today it became personal. Today I finish the fight my ancestors started 💜✊🧡
