primal following notifications have become totally unusable. everyday i’m followed by like 50 bots.

anyone else getting a flood of followers lately? open claw bots working overtime.
if your hobbies do not improve the quality of your thinking, then they are a theft of your time and a sabotage of your spirit.
imo the best bitcoin narrative is framing it as a public utility. the first truly public payments infrastructure we’ve ever had. public as in open to everyone regardless of race, religion, or political allegiance.
you should care about craft.
that last 10%.

openclaw identity.md should dynamically update based on what it learns. soul.md could remain the same.
cashu is untraceable machine to machine electronic cash.
sent my openclaw bot a link to cashu skills md file via signal.
it learned cashu in one shot.
you can't imagine how much fun we're having.
moltbook is fake. you provide your agent an identity markdown file at setup and it just regurgitates talking points. memes are funny but it's all a larp. no original thoughts on moltbook.
me after customizing opencode

been vibing a cashu wallet in swift. the friction i want gone: having to pick ecash or lightning at the time of send or receive.
i'm experimenting with a mode selector on the top right. exploring whether treating it as a mode toggle instead of an inline choice feels better.
nice to see my @Cypherpunk Quotes bot has over 200 followers. if you’re not following already consider doing so. i’m updating it constantly with new quotes.
happy new year
my first hardware project: an offline cashu wallet on an esp32.
generate ecash, send it to the esp32 via bluetooth, esp32 decodes the ecash into individual proofs, pick any proof and display it as a QR code for redemption.
the esp32 never touches the internet. completely airgapped. just receives tokens, holds them, and displays cashu tokens.
been working on making bitcoin payments boring. it's so much fun.
nut november update: community raised ₿108,701 sats, total prize pool now over ₿300k.
still plenty of time to submit. build or design something cool.

Nut November
Nut November - A month-long hackathon for Cashu builders
A month-long hackathon for Cashu builders who just can't hold their nuts.

redesigned the mint rating and review ui for cashu.me
now you can see what mints your friends trust and leave reviews. wanted it to feel like getting a recommendation from someone you know.
web of trust does helps do the vetting for you.
see a mint with all reviews, then you can toggle to only show web of trust. ratings recalculate in real time based only on reviews from people in your web of trust.
if you don't really use nostr like that, then cashu.me comes with a built in web of trust based on based bitcoiners.
this is now live in prod. give it a try and let me know what you think. please report and UI issues or bugs too.
