The photographer's companion to SunApp is here. PhotoTimer is a privacy-first, client-side tool that calculates precise golden hour and blue hour windows for any location on Earth, morning and evening, for any date. It uses solar elevation angles to determine the exact minutes when light is at its most dramatic, including those high-latitude cases where golden hour can stretch for hours or barely exist at all. But the real headline is the workflow. PhotoTimer went from zero to deployed in a single "Vibe Coding" session. This is a deeply iterative, human-AI collaboration where clear intent and creative judgment guide a sovereign AI agent to ship functional software at an unprecedented pace. No boilerplate. No copy-pasting. Just pure, agentic execution. This is the speed and security of Sovereign AI in action, the same methodology we implement for our clients who need to innovate fast without compromising proprietary data. What time is golden hour where you are tonight? Let us know in the comments 🌅🌄 And if you're ready to master these high-speed AI workflows for your own team, let's connect! 🚀 image #BuildInPublic #App #Photography

Norwegians are among the most direct communicators in the world. This is a superpower. At home. Abroad, it can read as cold, dismissive, or even rude. Especially in cultures where the relationship must come before the transaction. I've seen Norwegian executives lose deals in Asia and Latin America not because their product was wrong, but because they skipped the small talk, got straight to the agenda, and wondered why the room went quiet. The fix isn't to be fake. It's to be bilingual in communication styles. Direct when the culture expects it. Relational when it doesn't. This is a learnable skill. And it pays for itself on the first international deal. image #CrossCulture #Communication #Leadership

Most strategy documents are too long, too vague, and forgotten by Q2. Here is the format we use at Stormberry with clients: - Where are we now? Honest assessment; strengths, real weaknesses. - Where do we want to be? Specific, time-bound. - How will we get there? 3 strategic moves, not 12. - What will we NOT do? This is the hardest and most important line. - How will we know we're winning? 2-3 measurable signals. One page. Shared with everyone. Revisited quarterly. Strategy is not a document. It's a decision filter. image #Strategy #Business #Focus

Most people think salespeople are born, not made. After 14 years selling complex technical systems across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, I disagree. The best salespeople I've worked with weren't the loudest in the room. They were the most disciplined. They had a process. They asked better questions. They knew their numbers. At Stormberry, our Sales pillar is built on exactly this: helping B2B teams build repeatable, scalable sales systems, not depend on one "rainmaker" who walks out the door one day. What does your sales system look like? image #Sales #B2B #SalesLeadership

Week 1 is done. Three posts. Here is what we covered. On Tuesday, we asked the question most leadership teams avoid: how will we win? Not a revenue target. Not a budget. A real answer to a real strategic question. On Wednesday, we opened our Cross-Cultural Communication series with the single most important concept in global business: high-context versus low-context cultures. Knowing which room you are in can save a deal, a relationship, or a team. On Thursday, MoonApp went live. The lunar sequel to SunApp: moonrise, lunar transit, moonset, and phase tracking for any location on Earth. Built in a single Vibe Coding session. Sovereign, private, zero tracking. Next week: our Sales series begins. And why Norwegian directness, one of our greatest strengths at home, can land very differently abroad. See you on Monday. image #BuildInPublic #Startup #Stormberry

Thursday Vibes continues at Stormberry: moon.stormberry.as The lunar sequel to SunApp is here. MoonApp is a privacy-first, client-side tool that calculates precise moonrise, lunar transit, and moonset for any location, including those polar edge cases where the moon never sets. It tracks phases, illumination, and the next Full Moon with zero cookies and zero tracking. But the real headline is the workflow. MoonApp went from zero to deployed in a single "Vibe Coding" session. When I moved from Brazil to Norway, I thought I understood direct communication. I was wrong. In Brazil, "direct" means I'll tell you what I think, but wrapped in warmth, context, and relationship. In Norway, direct means: here is the fact. Full stop. Neither is better. But misreading one for the other can cost you a deal, a partnership, or a team member. High-context cultures (Japan, Brazil, much of the Middle East) communicate through implication, relationship, and what is NOT said. Low-context cultures (Norway, Germany, Netherlands, USA) communicate explicitly: what is said is what is meant. The skill is knowing which room you're in. image #CrossCulture #Communication #Leadership

A budget is not a strategy. A revenue target is not a strategy. "Growing 20% next year" is not a strategy. Strategy answers one question: How will we win? It defines where you will play, how you will beat competitors, and what capabilities you need to build. Everything else is just execution. This week at Stormberry, we're sharing one strategic framework per week. Simple, actionable, no MBA required. First up next Tuesday: the one-page strategy that actually works. image #Strategy #Business #Leadership

As we wind down our first official week, here are a few thoughts from Marcos on the realities of cross-cultural communication: The cultural nuances of feedback are fascinating. Having delivered training courses globally, I’ve encountered regions where participants consistently give perfect 100% scores, whilst in other cultures, achieving anything above an 80% is practically impossible! I personally find it most actionable when people provide specific observations alongside concrete suggestions for improvement. That said, I've learned to appreciate that what feels 'constructive' is heavily shaped by our cultural background :) image #Leadership #CrossCulture #Feedback #Management

Introducing Thursday Vibes, our weekly showcase of what happens when strategy meets high-speed AI execution. Every Thursday, we’ll drop a "fun" project designed to inspire our customers about the varied possibilities of AI. Today, we start with SunApp: sun.stormberry.as What is it? SunApp is a privacy-first, client-side tool that computes precise solar data (sunrise, solar noon, and sunset) for any location on Earth—including those tricky Polar Night and Midnight Sun cases we experience here in Norway. The Real Story? How it was built. This is a prime example of "Vibe Coding": a high-speed, iterative collaboration between a human strategist and agentic AI. By mastering these specific workflows, we can scaffold and deploy functional tools at a fraction of traditional development time. This is exactly the type of AI-driven methodology and Workflow Literacy we teach at Stormberry. We don't just talk about efficiency; we demonstrate it every week. Try SunApp, check your local solar noon, and if you're ready to accelerate your own team with AI agents, let’s talk! 🚀 image #BuildInPublic #Solar #App #FunctioningPrototype

After 40 days of fasting, penance, prayer, and reflection during Lent, we now enter the 50 days of Easter: a season of joy, hope, and victory, passing through the glory of the Ascension and culminating in Pentecost. As we contemplate the mystery of the Resurrection, I’m reminded of St. Paul’s First Epistle to the Corinthians (1 Cor 5:7), echoed in the Easter sequence: Víctimæ pascháli laudes ímmolent Christiáni. Agnus rédemit oves: Christus ínnocens Patri reconciliávit peccatóres. Mors et vita duéllo conflixére mirándo: dux vitæ mórtuus regnat vivus. Dic nobis, María, quid vidísti in via? Sepúlcrum Christi vivéntis et glóriam vidi resurgéntis. Angélicos testes, sudárium et vestes. Surréxit Christus, spes mea: præcédet vos in Galilǽam. Scimus Christum surrexísse a mórtuis vere: tu nobis, victor Rex, miserére. Amen. Allelúia. Christians! to the Paschal Victim offer your thankful praises. The Lamb the sheep redeemeth: Christ, who only is sinless, reconcileth sinners to the Father. Death and life contended in that conflict stupendous: the Prince of Life, who died, deathless reigneth. Speak, Mary, declaring what thou sawest wayfaring. “The tomb of Christ who now liveth: and likewise the glory of the Risen. Bright Angels attesting, the shroud and napkin resting. Yea, Christ my hope is arisen: to Galilee He goeth before you.” We know that Christ is risen, henceforth ever living: Have mercy, Victor King, pardon giving. Amen. Alleluia. Happy Easter to all my friends, colleagues, and customers. God bless you and your families! #Stormberry @Stormberry #Easter Christus surréxit! Surréxit vere! Allelúja! Christ is risen! Indeed He is risen! Alleluia!
